• Lake Arenal Costa Rica sits at the base of the Arenal Volcano in the northern highlands of Costa Rica.
• Lake Arenal is the country’s largest landlocked body of water, with a surface that covers nearly 33 square miles (85 square km) and a depth that reaches some 200 feet (60 m).
• Lake Arenal Costa Rica, located in the northern highlands of the country was enlarged to its present size as a part of a 1979 hydroelectric project by the Costa Rican government to provide electricity to the country.
• Hydroelectricity – Lake Arenal was tripled in size with the construction of the Arenal dam in 1979, which exists at the eastern end of the lake.
• This hydroelectric project is hugely important to Costa Rica, initially generating 70% of the country’s electricity, now closer to 17%, and was also a driving force behind Costa Rica’s green energy policy.

We have been getting lots of request from friends, family and subscribers to take a video of our new property in the mountains of Costa Rica so here you are.

I am going to apologize now, in the end of this video tour I turn the camera around to say goodbye and I did not brush my hair and I didn’t plan on being in the video so I look like a crazy mess with hair all over my face, lmao.

But I am keeping it real and I know you can respect that my friend

Some of the many reasons why we moved inland away from the beautiful Pacific beaches here in Costa Rica:

• Perfect Weather (it’s not constantly hot in the 90′s like on the beaches but gets cool in the evenings).
• Here we have land to grow fruits and veggies and because we are high in the mountains we get fresh rain often making it super easy to grow anything.
• A totally new experience. We are adventures and get to experience a totally different side of Costa Rica.
• We live in a town full of farmers. Healthy Food galore (I am like a kid in the candy store).
• Beautiful Valley Views
• Beautiful Lake Views
• Home of some of the best restaurants in Costa Rica
• Horses
• Mountain Lions (haha yea i think it’s cool),
• Sloths (its a monkey like animal who moves super slow like they doing taiqi chuan all the time, lol adorable).
• Higher Elevation, closer to the heavens.
• UFO Hot Spot (Next to some of the largest volcanos in the world and for those of you who don’t know certain volcanos such as these act as hyperdimensial worm holes. (lol I am being dead serious, ufo sightings galore around these volcanos)
• Next to some of the most beautiful hot springs in Costa Rica.
• Great Fishing here in the lakes.
•  The sounds of nature hear are remarkable.
• The People are overly loving and kind (complete strangers we just met for the very first time drove us 4-5 hours to the airport and then 4-5 hours back because they wanted to help us and refused to take no for n answer)

What more could we ask for…
