A few nights on board the Coral Princess cruise ship they held karaoke contest and the winners from each night’s contest were invited back to compete in the Princess Pop Star competition.

The Princess cruise was a 16 day cruise which disembarked San Pedro California, stopping by Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco and Huatulco Mexico, Puntarenas Costa Rica, Panama City Panama, Panama Canal, Oranjestad Aruba and Cartagena Colombia then arriving in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Overall the cruise was an incredible experience with lots of excitement and good times.

Karaoke contest are one of the popular activates onboard the cruise ship and a fun way to relax, dance, have a couple drinks or just enjoy yourself grooving to the music.

They played an interesting blend of the music during the karaoke contest. We had a variety of sounds ranging from good old Frankie Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) to rhythm and blues Diva Mary J Blige.

The beautiful D Sterlin was one of the competitors earning her way into the Princess Pop Star contest by winning a karaoke contest during the start of our cruise.

D has a singing background with the Tampa Bay’s Children Choir so good music and singing she has always been very passionate about since a child.

The Princess Pop Star karaoke contest competition was off the chain. Every competitor had their own unique talents.

As shown in the video on my blog all the competitors were excellent and all winners in my eyes.

The woman who sings Tina Turner wins and you must check out the video to see her shaking her body, you’ll be entertained to say the least.

The lovely D Sterlin sings a song called “Count On Me” by Whitney Houston and Cece Winans.

After D’s soulful performance the judges decided to really give it to her, criticizing every key element of her performance. There were 3 judges who all had their own unique professional music backgrounds and bits of advice to share.

In the video you will notice her wearing a beautiful yellow dress we bought in Acapulco, Mexico.

The Princess Pop Star karaoke contest was an exciting experience I will never forget.

D Sterlin sings like an angel and continues to touch my heart.

Maybe one day she will perform in a karaoke contest near you and be able to bless you with her heart and soul the same way she does for me.

Karaoke Contest

Aruba Beaches

In this video we continue our bus tour around the island an then climb a rock allowing us to see about 30% of the island from the top view.

Then we continue the bus tour, going through a very rich neighborhood where many of the government officials live.
