Grocery Shopping In Costa Rica At The Maxi Bodega
You ever wonder what it’s like grocery shopping in Costa Rica? We have had many people asking us what the prices are like? What kind of products? etc. so we decided to share this shopping experience with you so you can see first hand what it’s like.
In this video you will experience D & myself getting our grocery shopping done at the Maxi Bodega and sharing it all with you.
The Maxi Bodega is a comparable super market to a Wal-Mart in the United States, in fact the Maxi Bodega is owned by Wal-Mart here in Costa Rica.

Pura Vida (POO-rah VEE-dah), used by Costa Ricans since 1956, literally translated means “Pure Life.” Contextually, it means “Full of Life” “Purified life”, “This is living!”, “Going great!” It is used as a greeting, a farewell, and to express satisfaction.
